Day 1: QAIA – Amman    

Meet and assist at Queen Alia international airport before the immigration arrange for the visa and help with the luggage and match with the driver. Transfer to hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 2: Amman – Jerash - Anjara – Pella  – Umm Qais - Amman

Breakfast at hotel, Proceed to the north for full day tour visiting Jerash; the best-preserved city of the Roman times; theatres, temples, and colonnaded street.  Morning visit to Anjara:  this is a relevant place in Christianism: as Jesus with His disciples and Virgin Maria had a rest in the caves of Anjara during a trip from Jerusalem to the Decapolis cities. Then transfer to visit Pella  , proceed to visit Umm Qais which is a town in northern Jordan near the site of the ancient town of Gadara. It is situated in the extreme north-west of the country, where the borders of Jordan, Israel and Syria meet, perched on a hilltop (378 metres above sea level), overlooking the sea of Tiberias, the Golan heights and the Yarmuk gorge. Drive back to Amman for overnight.

Day 3: Amman – Jerusalem  - Bethlehem -  Amman

After breakfast, drive to border to cross to Jerusalem, drive to Jerusalem, Visit Mount of olives, Panorama View of Jerusalem, Dominus flevit, Gethsemane, Via Dolorosa, Holy Sepulcher then drive to Bethlehem Visit Nativity Church, Milk Grotto and the Shepherds field, then Back to Allenby.  Then back to Amman for overnight

Day 4: Amman – Madaba – Mt. Nebo   – Makawir – Um Al Rasas – Kerak - Petra

After breakfast, drive to Madaba city of mosaics to visit St. George church and the ancient mosaic of the Holy Land. Continue to Mt. Nebo from where Moses viewed the Promised Land.  drive to Makawir. this Herodian fortress palace, retains the memories of some very dramatic ancient human and political events, including the beheading of John the Baptist, a Jewish revolt against the Roman rule, and prolonged Roman siege and destruction of the rebels. Continue to Umm Al Rasas. The Town of Um Al Rasas, as it is known, was an important town in the Nabatean times and became a frontier station in the Roman time. The city wall, houses and churches are the remains of the ancient Kastron Mefaa. After the tour, transfer to Kerak  to visit the famous Crusader castle  then transfer to Petra for  Overnight .

Day 5: Petra visit  -  Amman

After breakfast visit Petra the home of the Nabataea’s; the complete city carved in a mountain with the huge colourful rocks that called “the red rose city”. The tour will start by crossing the “Siq” lined with mountains in multiple colors up to the treasury; the pride of all Jordanian, The royal tomb, theatre, the high place of sacrifice and roman soldier tombs,  then back to Amman for overnight

Day 6: Amman – Lots cave-  Dead Sea  – Baptism Site (Bethany) – Amman

After breakfast, drive to visit Lots cave  then proceed to the lowest point of the world “the Dead Sea”, free time at leisure and swimming , and try the muddy sand on your skin. You will be pleasantly surprised to find that you cannot but float on the water, due to the high quantity of salt in it,  then transfer to visit to Bethany, the Jesus baptism site on the Jordan river eastern side. Back to hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 7: Amman  – Amman  Airport

After breakfast, transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.

·         Meet and assist upon arrival and departure by Jordan tours representative

·         Escort English speaking  driver  during the tour in Jordan

·         English speaking guide in Jerusalem

·         06 nights’ Accommodation ( 5 Nights in Amman + 1 Night  in Petra ) in DBL or TRPL rooms with daily breakfast & dinner .

  • Horse Ridding in Petra for 600 meters till the SIQ.

Optional activities

  • Petra by Night :While you are in Petra you can enjoy the magic of Petra by night. The program includes a candle lit visit to the rose-red city of Petra. The special aura of the ancient Nabataea’s trading empire comes to life as you enjoy a stroll through the mysterious siq of Petra. At the treasury, music and stories will help you experience Petra as the travel-weary traders of old must have known it. The excursion departs from Petra visitors centre every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening at 20:30, returning to the visitors centre around 22:30.tickets are US$ 26.00 per person, children under 12 years are free of charge. You can buy your ticket at your hotel reception desk. Please note that the walk is not very well lit.

  

  • Petra Kitchen:  On one of the nights while you are in Petra you can enjoy a night cuisine course and meal at the Petra kitchen. The Petra kitchen has a relaxed, informal atmosphere where you'll prepare an evening meal, working alongside local women under the supervision of a chef. This includes soup, cold and hot mezza and salads, a main course and takes home recipes. The price for this cooking course is US$45/ per person.
